Margus Veensalu

Margus Veensalu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Margus currently holds the position of Executive Vice President, International at Enersense International Oyj since February 2020. Prior to this, they served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Head of Baltic Division at Empower group from December 2014 to August 2017. From February 2011 to March 2014, Veensalu held the role of Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of the Estonian subsidiary of Empower group, overseeing general management and supervising various departments. Margus also served as the Head of Harju Department at Empower group from February 2010 to February 2011. Veensalu's earlier experience includes roles such as Business Advisor and Member of the Management Board at Empower group, where they advised on managing and purchasing stakes in various companies and managed the company's turnaround after privatization.

Margus Veensalu briefly attended Swinburne University of Technology in 1996, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Estonian University of Life Sciences, completing their studies between 1986 and 1993.
