Pekka Pitkämö

Pekka Pitkämö has a diverse work experience across various companies. Pekka currently holds the position of Sales Director of Renewable Business at Enersense International Oyj since April 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the VP Sales, Power Division at Enersense International Oyj from August 2020 to March 2023.

Before joining Enersense International Oyj, Pekka worked at Empower PN Oy as the Vice President, Sales from January 2014 to July 2020. Pekka also has previous experience at Empower Oy, where they held various roles such as VP, CRM and Marketing, Network Division from January 2011 to December 2013, CRM and Marketing Director from January 2008 to December 2010, Sales and Marketing Director Energy services from January 2003 to December 2007, and Marketing Director from May 2002 to December 2002.

Additionally, Pekka has worked at Vattenfall Sähkönmyynti Oy as the Sales Director from July 1998 to April 2002. Pekka started their career at If P&C Insurance, where they served as the Branch Director from January 1996 to June 1998. Prior to that, they held the roles of Branch Manager for Energy sector customers at If P&C Insurance from January 1994 to 1995 and Account Manager from January 1989 to December 1993.

Pekka Pitkämö completed an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology from 1981 to 1987. In 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Diploma in European Marketing Communication from the Institute of Marketing. Additionally, in 2006 to 2007, Pekka attended the Customer Leadership Academy at VIA Group where they focused on Customer relations & sales management.
