Jarmo Savolainen

Jarmo Savolainen is a seasoned professional in the field of business development and product management with extensive experience spanning over four decades. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Enersoft Oy since August 2017, Jarmo focuses on developing laboratory information systems and services for Finnish customers. Prior to this role, Jarmo was a Senior Product Manager at Tieto from September 2002 to August 2017, overseeing a software solution comprising approximately 10 products related to clinical laboratory information systems. Jarmo's early career includes positions at Ericsson, where responsibilities included software development tasks and international standardization representation, and at Wallac (PerkinElmer), where Jarmo designed and implemented software solutions for laboratory instruments. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Applied Physics with specializations in medical engineering, applied mathematics, (bio)chemistry, and medicine from the University of Eastern Finland, along with specialized courses in communications engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
