Jim Bevan

Jim Bevan has extensive experience in engineering and product management, currently serving as the Senior Director of STG Transportation Product Management at EnerSys since September 2025, leading the battery transportation division. Prior to EnerSys, Jim held the position of Senior Director of Customer Engineering at Proterra Inc from August 2021 to September 2025, where the focus was on integrating and launching battery and EV products with OEM partners. Jim has also held significant roles at Daimler Trucks North America from April 2009 to August 2021, including Manager of eMobility Engineering and Manager of Powernet, overseeing high voltage power system design and starting and charging systems. Earlier career experience includes key positions at Orion Inspection Engineering, where Jim was Engineering Manager, and various engineering roles at Daimler Trucks and Steelcase. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University.
