Roy Wood

Roy Wood is a seasoned telecommunications and engineering professional with extensive experience spanning multiple companies in the field. Currently serving as the RAN Field Engineering Team Lead at Enet (Open Access Networks) since September 2025, Roy previously held various engineering leadership roles at BT Ireland from January 2009 to September 2025, where responsibilities included providing 24 x 7 coverage for major customers and managing field engineering operations. Prior to this, Roy worked as a Field Engineer at O2 Ireland, focusing on network maintenance and management of external resources from 2000 to 2009. Earlier career experiences include roles at Apex Fire Systems and Sigma Wireless, where Roy developed foundational skills in engineering systems and repairs. Educationally, Roy holds a National Diploma in Electronics from Dundalk Institute of Technology and a Leaving Certificate from Carrigallen Vocational School.
