Icaro Mendes

Icaro Mendes is a seasoned professional in the field of safety and environmental management, currently serving as Técnico de Segurança do Trabalho III at Eneva since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Engenheiro de Segurança do Trabalho and Especialista de HSE at Grupo Energia, as well as Técnico em segurança do trabalho positions at SETA Engenharia and GMX Engenharia. Responsibilities throughout the career have involved risk investigation, safety inspections, and the development of safety programs and training courses. Icaro holds a master’s degree in Engineering Safety from Universidade Candido Mendes and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, supplemented by technical training from IFBA. Additionally, Icaro contributed to research on socio-environmental changes related to wind energy projects as a researcher with CNPq.
