Haotian Wang

Senior Scientist at Enevate

Haotian Wang has extensive work experience in the field of materials science and research. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, where they designed and fabricated an automated remote plasma treatment platform and investigated the etching and chemical modification of polymers induced by H2O and O2 plasma. Haotian also performed XPS and FTIR analysis to resolve the chemical structure of polymers.

From 2017 to 2022, Haotian served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, where they developed organic/inorganic Li metalcone materials for Li-ion battery applications using atomic layer deposition. Haotian conducted various analysis techniques such as X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy to determine the chemical structure of the materials. Additionally, they investigated the conversion reaction mechanism of FeOF and the coating effect by solid electrolyte LiPON.

In 2023, Haotian joined Enevate Corporation as a Senior Scientist, where they are currently working. No specific details about this role are provided.

Haotian Wang received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science from the University of Maryland from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science from the same institution, completing their studies from 2017 to 2022.
