Hong Zhao

Principal Scientist at Enevate

Hong Zhao has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field. Hong began their career in 2008 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Michigan State University. In 2012, they moved on to a Postdoc role at UT - Austin. In 2013, they were hired as a Senior Scientist at Calera Corporation, and in 2018, they accepted a role as Principal Scientist at Enevate Corporation.

Hong Zhao obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biomedical Engineering from Tianjin University between 1998 and 2003. Hong then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Bioengineering (Electrochemistry) from Imperial College London, which they completed in 2008. In 2015, they obtained two certifications from the American Management Association, "Managing Today's Technical Professionals" and "Preparing for Leadership: What It Takes to Take the Lead".
