Enevo
Fredrik Kekalainen: fearless leader, technologist, innovator, and entrepreneur. In 2010, he founded Enevo to create a more efficient, technology-driven waste management and recycling company for an increasingly urbanized world.
Fredrik started his first software technology company in 1996 while still in business school. The company was sold successfully in 1999.
He continued his startup journey as co-founder of Fathammer Inc., a venture capital-backed developer of graphics software systems for embedded and mobile device manufacturers. Fathammer was acquired by Japan-based Acrodea, Inc., shortly before its IPO in October of 2006.
Since then, Fredrik has taken his tech expertise to the waste world, finally updating an industry that hasn’t changed in decades. Enevo currently has more than a dozen patents to its name and is used in 6 continents of the world.
When he's not changing the waste world, Fredrik enjoys sailing the Boston Harbor and being outdoors with his family.
