Fabian Garcia Lopez

Fabian Garcia Lopez has a diverse work experience in engineering and software development roles. Fabian Garcia is currently working as a Sr Controls Engineer at Enexor BioEnergy since August 2022. Previously, from September 2020 to June 2022, they served as a Sr Software Engineer/Software Lead at Animax Designs, Inc.

Prior to that, they worked at Walt Disney Imagineering from October 2015 to September 2020. During their time there, they held the role of Show Control Software Developer, where they were responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying software control systems for Disney Attraction shows worldwide. Fabian Garcia also worked on the integration protocols with show partner systems, as well as the development of Animatronic and Hazard safety systems. Additionally, they were involved in Show Programming from October 2015 to July 2016.

Before joining Walt Disney Imagineering, Fabian worked at Jabil from August 2013 to October 2015 as an Automation Software Design Engineer. In this role, they specialized in architecting, engineering, and programming software motion controls, interface applications, and algorithms for various types of robots. Fabian Garcia also conducted research and development projects involving collaborative robots for real-time interaction with operators.

Fabian Garcia Lopez pursued their education in Computer Engineering from 2006 to 2013 at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. During their time there, they focused on studies in Embedded Systems, Robotics, and Software Engineering.
