Steven Hemp

Steven Hemp has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Steven is currently employed at Enexor BioEnergy as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer, where they apply their mechanical engineering expertise to develop renewable energy and carbon conversion systems. Prior to this, Steven worked at Oshkosh Corporation as a Senior Project Engineer from 2019 to 2022, managing the design and implementation of subsystems for a multi-billion dollar contract with the US Postal Service. Before that, they worked at Ideal Clamp Products, Inc. from 2011 to 2019, initially as an Engineering Test Lab Manager, responsible for managing test engineers, technicians, and overall operation of the engineering test lab. Steven then transitioned to the role of Sr. Product Design Engineer, where they supported the introduction and growth of product lines for various industries. Prior to their time at Ideal Clamp Products, Inc., Steven worked as a Design Engineer at Ariens Company from 2008 to 2011, managing design projects and engineering tasks for commercial lawn mowers and attachments. Steven began their career at Oshkosh Corporation as a Design Engineer from 2000 to 2006, where they designed military trucks, trailering equipment, and snow removal equipment. Before their career in engineering, Steven owned and operated Serenity Waterscapes LLC from 2006 to 2008, a landscaping and pond building business that specialized in creative design. Overall, Steven's work experience demonstrates their ability to manage projects, design complex systems, and deliver successful product launches.

Steven Hemp attended Michigan Technological University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
