Youssef Shehab

Youssef Shehab has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Youssef began their career as an intern at Paradigm Solutions LLC in 2012 and then moved on to intern at innov8 in 2011. Youssef then became a Web Developer at Brainwaves systems in 2014, where they implemented backend services in CodeIgniter/PHP, MongoDB and FFmpeg for managing video processing jobs. Youssef also conducted merge request reviews and implemented frontend using jQuery and AngularJS. Following this, they became a Web Developer at novomind EG in 2014, where they implemented backend services using WebSphere commerce framework and frontend using EmberJS. In 2015, they joined Orange as a Software Engineer, where they implemented clean and scalable code as well as unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using technologies such as Spring Boot, Flask/Hug, Docker, Node.js, Webpack, Angular/AngularJS, and Meteor. Youssef then moved on to become a Software Engineer at The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors in 2020. Currently, they are a Java Software Engineer at Enfec and a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at REI.

Youssef Shehab has a comprehensive educational background. Youssef obtained a High School Diploma from Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education from El-Nasr boys college in 2008, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in 2013. Youssef is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, Shehab has obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including The Linux Foundation, VMware, deeplearning.ai, Udacity, University of California San Diego, edX, and Coursera Course Certificates.
