Juan Lopez Monte has extensive work experience in the renewable energy sector. Juan currently holds the position of Project Director at Enfinity Global since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Engineer at EDP Renewables from January 2020 to May 2022.

Juan also had a role as a Wind & Solar Project Manager in the Engineering Department at Vector Cuatro Group from May 2018 to January 2020. Juan led a consultancy team of 4 people and was responsible for conducting Wind and PV Solar Due Diligence projects in Europe and LATAM.

Before that, Juan worked at Bow Power as a Business Development/M&A professional from July 2017 to May 2018. Juan was involved in M&A analysis of energy projects, including renewables and conventional sources, for the APAC region. Juan also served as a PPA Manager and handled financial modeling.

Prior to Bow Power, Juan worked as a Project Engineer at Vector Cuatro Group from August 2015 to July 2017. Their responsibilities included quality control analysis, Due Diligences, and Wind Resource Assessment of PV plants and Wind Farms.

Juan's earlier work experience includes being a Project Engineer at ARIES INGENIERIA Y SISTEMAS from June 2010 to August 2015. During this time, they conducted Wind Resource Assessments, Wind Measurement Campaigns, Due Diligences, and Project Scheduling. Juan also worked as a Civil Works Engineer at the same company from February 2014 to February 2015, where they were involved in ownership engineering, site supervision, and drawing approval and revision.

Juan's first professional experience was as a Process Engineer at Tecnicas Reunidas from March 2009 to June 2009.

Throughout their career, Juan has gained expertise in project management, engineering, financial modeling, and due diligence in the renewable energy sector.

Juan Lopez Monte has a diverse education history in the field of renewable energies and chemical engineering. Between 2004 and 2009, they attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on Chemical Process Technology and Environment. In 2009, they enrolled at the Escuela de Organización Industrial and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Renewable Energies, showcasing their interest in the field. Returning to their studies in 2013, Juan Lopez Monte attended the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Wind Energy Technology and fundamentals. Additionally, Juan has acquired the CAE certification from Cambridge University Press, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
