Venkat Bhardwaj

Venkat joined Enformion as Chief Product and Data Science Officer (CPO) in 2022. Venkat has an impressive 25 years of experience in the world of big data, with a focus on the financial and tech industries. As CPO, Venkat will oversee their business client product roadmap and delivery, data science & analytical outputs- including ML/AI scores, and research & strategy optimization. Before this, he was Head of Fraud & Credit Risk Solution business line at Argus (A Verisk Analytics Company), Director of Fraud Risk at Capital One, and SVP/Head of North America Fraud & Credit Risk Strategy at HSBC. He also previously served as VP of Fraud and Disputes Strategy and Director of IT risk systems at HSBC and First Data.

Venkat is a robotics engineer who started as a technologist managing fraud/credit risk systems and leading business operations & policy. He is also a successful consultant, having built-up a successful fraud and credit risk analytic consulting practice for a larger analytics firm. Venkat has implemented effective risk strategies across multiple banking products and channels and provides fraud and credit risk expertise to several advisory boards.

His hobbies include cooking, traveling, and hanging out with his family. Venkat currently resides in New York state with his wife, son, and daughter.
