HOW WE DO IT ‣ Leadership Program: Accessible and affordable, our program bridges economic and cultural divides and prepares leaders to make a real impact ‣ Civic Engagement: We connect alumni and class members to city, state, and federal government systems to support engagement in civic service opportunities and create pathways to service on local boards and commissions ‣ Network Building: Our program helps to expand professional networks and activate effective, informed leaders WHY WE DO IT ‣ Impact: Our program provides leaders with a deeper understanding of city, state, and federal systems, with a focus on Dallas ‣ Passion: We help cohort members find or deepen their passion for serving the community ‣ Community: Participants join a tribe of fellow leaders who remain connected and continue to support each other beyond the program OUR HISTORY Engage Dallas was founded in 2012 as the Mayor’s Star Council.
