Chiara De Fazio, CHRL, CTMP has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Chiara has held various positions throughout their career, starting with their role as HR Elections Coordinator at the City of Toronto in 2006. In this role, they successfully trained over 1,000 new hires and managed the recruitment process for municipal elections.

Afterward, Chiara joined CIBC as a Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator in 2007. Here, they analyzed and processed requests for over 500 internal clients within the Technology and Operations department. Chiara also acted as a liaison between clients and payroll, resolving payroll-related issues and providing training to new hires and existing employees.

In 2009, Chiara joined ICS Legal Services Professional Corporation as a Human Resources Generalist. Chiara developed and implemented the firm's first HR department and authored the first employee handbook. Chiara ensured compliance with legislative requirements, acted as an advocate for employees, and provided coaching and advice to management.

Most recently, Chiara has been working at Engage People Inc. as the Director of People & Culture since 2019. Chiara partners with the C-Suite and senior management to develop people strategies aligned with the company's global business plans. Additionally, they doubled the headcount within the first year and implemented various HR initiatives such as the first HRIS and performance management system.
