James Southall is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Engage Technical Solutions Ltd since April 2023, James previously held the role of Senior Consultant at Engage Technical Solutions from October 2020 to April 2023. James has a strong analytical capability, excelling in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and solution design, with proven expertise in managing and motivating diverse teams. Prior to these roles, James worked at Babcock International Group as Fleet and Engineering Analysis Manager, leading data analysts to optimize Ministry of Defence assets, and as EFR Technical Manager, providing equipment failure reporting services. James's earlier career includes serving as a REME Artificer in the British Army, where leadership in technical and operational capacities supported global military operations. James holds an HND in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
