Luke Jones

Luke Jones has a wide range of experience in various financial roles. Luke currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Engage2Excel since 2019. Previously, they worked as the Interim Global Service Line Leader for Transaction Services at Grant Thornton International Ltd from July 2018 to December 2018. Luke also had a long tenure at Grant Thornton LLP, where they held multiple roles including Principal in Transaction Services from April 2005 to December 2018 and Manager in Transaction Advisory Services from March 2008 to January 2010.

In addition to their work in the financial sector, Luke has been involved with the Bristol City Supporters Trust, where they acted as a Director, Treasurer, and Board member. Luke was responsible for financial management and the preparation of financial statements from March 2005 to January 2016. Before that, Luke worked at Grant Thornton UK LLP as a Government and Infrastructure Advisory Manager from April 2005 to August 2012.

Luke began their career as an Audit Senior at Bishop Fleming and worked as an Accounts Assistant at Creative Video Associates. Prior to that, they gained customer service experience as a Customer Service Assistant at Asda Stores Ltd.

Luke Jones obtained their Chartered Accountancy qualification from ICAEW in 2002-2004, focusing on accounting and business. Prior to that, from 2000-2002, they received their Association of Accounting Technicians professional qualification from Filton College, also specializing in accounting and business. Luke also has additional certifications, including being an Incentive Professional (IP) from the Incentive Marketing Association. Luke is also a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants and the Association of Accounting Technicians, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
