Kate Johnstone

Kate Johnstone, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting, currently serving as the Controller at engage2learn since October 2021. Prior to this role, Kate held various positions at Frontline Education from June 2015 to October 2021, including Senior Accountant Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Previous experience includes working as a Staff Accountant at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, and multiple roles in financial management and operations during academic tenure at The Collaboratory for Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research. Kate also gained early accounting experience as a Junior Staff Accountant at Innovative Accounting Management and participated in internships related to payroll and customer service. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Messiah College, completed in 2013.
