Lauren Hurt-Ashwin

Lauren Hurt-Ashwin currently serves as a Board Member for the Cure Mito Foundation, a position held since December 2021. With extensive experience in talent development, Lauren has been the Executive Director of Talent Development at engage2learn since May 2013, where responsibilities include designing engaging learning systems collaboratively. Prior roles at the Irving Independent School District included serving as a 7th and 8th grade science teacher, with a focus on Project Based Learning, from August 2010 to May 2013. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Education from Oklahoma State University.
