Dave Blahnik

Dave Blahnik has over 20 years of experience in finance, sales operations, and business planning. Dave started their career in 1992 as the Director of Management Consulting and Business Planning at Brooks Fiber Properties, which was later acquired by Sprint. From 1996 to 1999, Dave served as the Director of Municipal Relations and Network Access Programs at MetroNet Communications, which was acquired by AT&T Broadband. In 1999, they joined Digital Broadband Communications as the VP of Corporate Development, where they were responsible for financial and business planning. Dave then worked as a Principal at Holywell Advisors from 2001 to 2006.

In 2006, Dave joined Mitel (Airwide Solutions) as the Senior Director of Financial Planning, where they managed various finance, operations, and planning tasks. Dave continued to participate in re-organization and strategic initiatives, including M&A activities and the coordination of due diligence for Airwide's sale to Mitel. From 2011 to 2013, Dave served as the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at GlassHouse Technologies, where they also led the sale of the company's consulting division.

Dave then joined Nokia (Mformation) in 2013 as the Executive Director of Finance and Sales Operations. Dave provided senior management expertise for a Private Equity-backed reorganization and was involved in the acquisition of Mformation by Alcatel-Lucent in 2015, which later merged with Nokia. From 2016 to 2018, Dave worked as the Vice President of Finance (CFO) at PlumChoice before it was acquired by Allstate and became part of SquareTrade. At PlumChoice, they led the Finance and Sales Operations teams and was responsible for financial management, reporting, FP&A, sales administration, and legal and banking relationships.

Currently, Dave Blahnik works at Engageware as the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial management and reporting activities, FP&A and forecasting initiatives, and legal and banking relationships. Dave is also a key contributor to the Executive Management team on all day-to-day, strategic, and overall business planning and execution.

Dave Blahnik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Missouri State University in 1983. Dave then pursued an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed it in 1985. Later, they studied International Affairs at Washington University in St. Louis and obtained a Master's degree in an unspecified year prior to 1990.
