Ging R. Belen has over 20 years of work experience in the marketing and communications industry. In 1996, they began their career as an Account Manager at BrandAsia, followed by a role as an Account Manager at CompetitivEdge, Inc. from 1997 to 2000. In 2000, they moved to DDB as a Senior Account Manager and then an Account Group Manager. In 2004, they worked as an Account Director (Regional Advertising Center) at MullenLowe Lintas Group, followed by a role as an Account Director at DDB Worldwide from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, they became a Marketing Communications Project Consultant as a Freelancer, and then in 2014, they were appointed as the Director, Content and Engagement at Engage, where they also served as the Social Media Manager and Strategist.
Ging R. Belen has completed a Certificate in Integrated Marketing 360 from Cornell University, a Certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University, a Master of Development Communication from the University of the Philippines, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Advertising from Far Eastern Institute of Communications, and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from the University of the Philippines.
