Ettore Rizzo

Ettore Rizzo, PhD, MBA, serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of enGenome since January 2016, where the organization focuses on the analysis and interpretation of molecular data to aid translational research and clinical use by delivering accurate genetic reports. Prior experience includes serving as a Bioinformatician at Fondazione I.R.C.C.S. Policlinico San Matteo Pavia from November 2011 to December 2015, where responsibilities entailed developing NGS data analysis pipelines and managing cloud-based analysis infrastructures. Rizzo also held positions at NMS Group as a Bioinformatician and at Harvard Medical School as a Visiting Research Scholar, both contributing to NGS data analysis and cloud-based workflows. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Bioinformatics from Università di Pavia, and an International Executive MBA from Maastricht University.
