Hamish Foy is a Senior Engineering Geologist at ENGEO NZ & AU, with experience in residential and commercial land development, infrastructure development, and natural hazard remediation across New Zealand, America, and Australia. Since April 2016, Hamish has engaged in hazard assessments, geotechnical analysis, design, project management, and construction monitoring. Prior to this, roles included Project Engineering Geologist and Site Engineer at Hiway Group, focusing on Deep Soil Mixing projects during the Canterbury Earthquake recovery. Hamish gained foundational skills as an Engineering Intern, alongside previous experience as a Construction Laborer and in engineering design and drafting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geology, a Professional Master’s in Engineering Geology, and a Master of Science in Engineering Geology, all from the University of Canterbury.

In 2012 we merged with ENGEO Incorporated, a specialist seismic, geotechnical and environmental consulting firm in California, USA.
