Yongdong Jiang

Yongdong Jiang's work experience includes positions at nGimat Co., Georgia Institute of Technology, and Tsinghua University. At nGimat Co., they held various roles from Senior Scientist to VP, where they focused on research and development of materials, coatings, and processing technologies. Yongdong successfully developed functional surfaces and coatings for various applications, including self-cleaning, anti-fogging, anti-reflection, and antimicrobial coatings. Yongdong also investigated nanocomposite materials for energy storage applications. At Georgia Institute of Technology, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting research on powder phosphor materials and their processing technologies. Yongdong also served as a teaching assistant. Prior to that, at Tsinghua University, they worked as a Lecturer and their work focused on developing porous ceramic substrates, nanostructured thin films, and ceramic composites for filtration and high-temperature applications. Yongdong also conducted research on microwave sintering behavior of ceramic materials.

Yongdong Jiang has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering, with a minor in chemistry, from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they received a Master's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University. Yongdong also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Ceramic Engineering from Tsinghua University.
