Adrien Ruau - McIps

Adrien Ruau - MCIPS is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in various industries, particularly in the renewable energy and rail sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Procurement for Africa at ENGIE Africa since January 2022, Adrien leads procurement activities related to CPPA/REIPPPP bidding exercises and manages both indirect and direct procurement in South Africa. Prior roles include Procurement Manager at ENGIE SOLAR, where responsibility included managing procurement and tendering in the photovoltaic renewable sector, and project management positions at Alstom, focusing on sourcing and contract management for large-scale projects in rail and construction. Adrien’s educational background includes a Master's degree in Business Management from IDRAC Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from Université Grenoble Alpes, along with a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS).
