Carlos Trench is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a diverse background in business development and project management. Currently serving as General Manager of Business Development at ENGIE Australia & New Zealand since October 2021, Carlos also holds roles as Project Director for the Yuri Green Hydrogen project and Head of Hydrogen Projects. Prior to this, Carlos worked at Vicinity Centres as National Product Delivery Manager for Renewable Energy and Strategic Delivery Manager from October 2018 to October 2021. Carlos has also held positions at Empower, where responsibilities included Business Advisor and General Manager, and at Axens as Project Lead. Earlier experience includes a role as Process Engineer at Total and an internship at Groupe Renault. Carlos holds a Master's Degree in Refining, Engineering, and Gas from IFP School and a Master's Degree in Process from INSA Toulouse, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
