Gustavo Labanca

Managing Director Power Networks Brazil at ENGIE Brasil

Gustavo Labanca is an accomplished executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director of Power Networks Brazil at ENGIE Brasil since April 2025. Prior to this role, Gustavo acted as Chief Executive Officer at TAG - Transportadora Associada de Gás from June 2019 to March 2025 and held the position of Chief Business Development Officer at ENGIE Brasil between January 2016 and May 2019. Gustavo's extensive experience also includes serving as VP of Business Development at GDF SUEZ Energy Latin America, as well as roles in financial and project advisory at Tractebel EGI South America. Additional positions include Business Development Manager at Tractebel Energia and Project Manager at both Cia Energetica Meridional and Nacional Energética. Gustavo began a career in finance as a Financial Planning Analyst at Banco Nacional SA. Educationally, Gustavo pursued studies at COPPEAD UFRJ and attended Colégio São José de Campo Grande.
