Carlos Escobar currently serves as Supervisor Senior O&M at ENGIE Chile for the COYA photovoltaic plant, overseeing operations and maintenance for a 180MW facility and a forthcoming BESS system. Previous roles include Head of Shift O&M for the COYA plant at EQUANS Chile, Electrical Construction Supervisor at Soltec, and O&M Engineer at Sterling and Wilson Solar for the Santa Isabel project. Carlos has also held positions at Abengoa Solar Chile, Tesla Energy, and PRODIEL, focusing on the operation and maintenance of solar and thermal plants. Carlos began a career at ARAUCO, working as an operator and electronic maintenance technician. Education includes ongoing studies in automation and control engineering at Iplacex, and a degree in electronic technology from CEAT.
