Chief Financial Officer, Kenya at ENGIE Energy Access (Africa)

Shile Lichuma has extensive work experience in various finance and leadership positions. Starting in 2001, they worked as the Finance & Administration Manager for Lords Healthcare Limited, where they improved financial management and implemented more efficient operations. In 2008, they became a Senior Accountant at Bureau Veritas. They then joined Adcock Ingram East Africa in 2011 as the Head of Financial Reporting & Supply Chain, where they developed and implemented effective planning and analysis capabilities. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Societe Pharmaceutique Du Rwanda, first as a Consultant for Finance and Procurement Strategy and later as the Head of Finance and Managing Director. In these roles, they were responsible for financial performance analysis, cost reduction strategies, and business planning. Their most recent position, starting in 2019, is the Chief Financial Officer of Kenya at ENGIE Mobisol.

Shile Lichuma has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Kenya Methodist University. Shile also holds an Executive Bachelor's degree in Project Planning & Management from the Management University of Africa and a Diploma in Public Relations from ICM. In addition to their degrees, Shile has obtained several certifications including a Certificate in Financial Modeling from EduPristine, a Certified Investments & Financial Analyst (CIFA) certification from KASNEB, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, also from KASNEB.
