Lauren Kuntz

Lauren Kuntz is a highly experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Market Analysis at ENGIE North America Inc. since April 2025. Prior to this role, Lauren was the CEO and Co-Founder of Gaiascope, Inc., where services focused on algorithmic trading solutions for renewable assets, achieving approximately 50% annual returns and leading the company to a successful acquisition by Engie. Additionally, Lauren founded gReenvision Energy to promote a carbon-free energy future and served as a NOAA Climate and Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington. Educational background includes a PhD in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Harvard University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Relevant early experiences include research internships at Microsoft and Fraunhofer IGD, alongside a mechanical engineering internship at 5 Wits Productions.
