Neil MacTiernan

Neil MacTiernan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the VP of Commercial Strategy at ENGIE North America Inc. since April 2018. In this role, MacTiernan leads strategy development and implementation for the grid scale renewables group, overseeing asset M&A and commercial coordination. Previous positions include Director of Business Development at Infinity Renewables and Independent Consultant, where MacTiernan specialized in structuring PPA agreements and project finance modeling. Additional experience encompasses senior managerial roles at First Solar and Sunrun, along with product management and engineering positions at various companies including Bloom Energy, Clipper Windpower, and GE Energy. Neil MacTiernan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
