Bob Helton

Bob Helton has over 30 years of work experience in the energy sector. Bob started their career at South Texas Nuclear Operating Company in 1984 as a Sr. technical specialist and worked there until 1997. Bob then joined Reliant Energy as Director of Regulatory Affairs from 1997 to 2000. Bob then moved to GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA, where they held various roles such as Director of Market Design and Director of Market Design and Policy - Texas, from 2000 to 2017. Currently, they are working at Dynegy Inc. as the Sr. Director of Regulatory Affairs since 2017. In their current role, they are responsible for developing regulatory/market design policy and participating in various industry committees and boards.

Bob Helton earned a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they studied from 1989 to 1994.
