Stefaan Deroo

Stefaan Deroo is an accomplished procurement executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Procurement for ENGIE Belgium, Netherlands, and the UK, as well as leading Purchasing & Warehousing for the BU Nuclear since May 2022. Prior to this role, Stefaan held various leadership positions at ENGIE Belgium over 12 years, including managing purchasing and warehousing for nuclear and renewable energy, and overseeing significant purchasing activities across multiple divisions. Starting with a legal background as a lawyer at De Cordier - Simon law firm, Stefaan transitioned to a procurement-focused career at ENGIE, contributing to significant projects and initiatives in power generation. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate in Law from Ghent University and a Middle Management Program from Vlerick Business School.
