Fred Muhlenberg

Fred Muhlenberg is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Development Engineer at CACI International Inc. since September 2019, Fred is focused on supporting a legacy budget system and its migration to native AWS services. Prior to this role, Fred held the position of Senior Software Engineer at High Performance Technologies, Inc. from December 2005, leading a team in developing a Java web-based application using agile practices. As a Java Architect at Sun Microsystems, Inc. from 1997 to 2005, Fred specialized in software engineering and performance tuning. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at Digital System Resources, Inc., where Fred led the development of an Intelligent Tutor project and software for digital signal generation, and at Raytheon/E-Systems, where Fred developed a graphical user interface for RF data management. Fred holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
