Gerardo Santacruz

Gerardo Santacruz has an extensive work experience in the field of data science and quantitative analysis. Gerardo is currently working at Engine by MoneyLion as the Director of Data Science. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Science Manager at the same company and as a Senior Data Scientist. Before joining Engine by MoneyLion, Gerardo worked at RUN as a Senior Data Scientist, where they were responsible for research and implementation of ad auction mechanics and pricing models. Gerardo also has experience working at Citi as an Electronic Execution Quantitative Analyst, where they conducted research on transaction cost analysis and market micro-structure, and as a Commodities Strategy Analyst, where they provided data management and analysis for market views. Gerardo also has experience as an Academic Tutor at Stevens Institute of Technology, an intern at Nomura Securities and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, and as an Event Assistant at Schaefer Athletic Center, Stevens Institute of Technology. Gerardo began their career as a Sales Associate at TJ Maxx.

Gerardo Santacruz completed their high school education at Bayonne High School from 2005 to 2009, earning a high school diploma. Later on, they attended Stevens Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Quantitative Finance and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Stochastic Systems & Optimization. In 2014, they also had the opportunity to be a visiting student at The University of Edinburgh's School of Informatics for a brief period.
