Joe Brinz, P.E. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Joe is currently the Co-Founder of Captura, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, Joe served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Engineering & Inspection Services, LLC from July 2020 to the present and from January 2007 to July 2020, respectively. Joe also held the role of Senior Plant Engineer/Project Engineer at Engineering & Inspection Services, LLC from February 2002 to December 2006.

From October 2004 to April 2005, they served as a HAZOP Engineer at Murphy Oil. Joe also worked as a TAR Engineer at ExxonMobil from February 2004 to October 2004, where they provided engineering support and performed root cause failure analyses to improve unit reliability and throughput.

Prior to their tenure at Orion Refining, Joe worked at ExxonMobil as a Plant Engineer from December 1996 to March 2000. In this role, they were responsible for the maintenance of various units and played a crucial role in the installation of new monopiles and the Reformer Heater Upgrade Project.

Motivated to expand their knowledge and skills, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Mechanical Engineering. Joe spent four years dedicated to this field of study and graduated in 1996.
