Geoff Smith

Geoff Smith has extensive experience in the civil engineering field, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Silman since December 2014, following previous roles as Associate and Senior Project Engineer within the same company. Additionally, Geoff co-hosts the weekly podcast "This Week in Civil Engineering" for the Engineering Management Institute, providing industry updates, technical information, and professional development insights. Prior to these positions, Geoff was a Senior Engineer at Buro Happold from January to December 2014 and held a Senior Engineer role at Silman from January 2004 to January 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both earned from West Virginia University.
