Matt Ensor is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in leadership and advisory roles across various sectors, particularly in generative AI and engineering in New Zealand. Currently serving as the Director at Kia Ora AI, Matt focuses on accelerating the adoption of AI technologies in organizations. As a member of the AI Advisory Committee for Engineering New Zealand and Chair of the Large Language Models Working Group at AI Forum NZ, Matt contributes to shaping the understanding and implementation of AI within the engineering profession. Matt also holds a trustee position at St Andrew’s Village and sits on the advisory board of NZ Barok, New Zealand's premier baroque orchestra. Previously, Matt was a Business Director at Beca, leading significant initiatives in AI and Smart Cities, and founded FranklyAI, which specializes in integrating AI solutions in the workplace. Matt's educational background includes advanced management studies at INSEAD and a degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Auckland.
