Liz Cannon

Liz Cannon is an experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background in engineering roles across various industries. Currently serving as an Instructor at Engineering Tomorrow since August 2022, Liz focuses on engaging students through hands-on projects and virtual presentations. As an Independent Contractor since July 2017, Liz offers mechanical design, drafting, and consulting services. Previous experience includes a position as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Control Systems Design & Automation, where Liz managed projects related to industrial automation and specialized in aqueous chemical cleaning machines. Significant contributions at Aerospace Testing Alliance as a Design Engineer involved reducing project costs and improving plant systems. Liz's early career included roles in applications engineering and design, as well as internships at General Motors. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Kentucky University.
