Hayaatun Sillem

Hayaatun Sillem is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various organizations. Currently serving as an Advisor at the Advanced Research and Invention Agency and as a Non Executive Director at Laing O'Rourke, Hayaatun also holds positions as Trustee for Mission 44 and EngineeringUK, and CEO of the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering. With a long-standing commitment to the Royal Academy of Engineering, Hayaatun has held multiple senior roles, including CEO and Deputy CEO, overseeing key initiatives and policy development in research and enterprise. In addition to these roles, Hayaatun is involved with councils and forums, contributing to discussions on business and innovation. Hayaatun's academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry from Cancer Research UK London Research Institute/UCL and an undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford.
