Laura Paul, P.Eng, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Equity and Engagement Lead at Engineers Canada, advocating for inclusivity within the engineering profession. With extensive experience in operations and project management, Laura previously held roles as Head of Operations at Baird & Associates and Director of Operations at Tiree, focusing on strategic planning and optimizing processes. Additional experience includes positions at Morrison Hershfield as a Sustainability Analyst, where Laura managed sustainable design projects, and as President of the CaGBC Ottawa Region Chapter, during which membership and online exposure significantly increased. Laura began their career in construction with roles at PCL Construction and EllisDon, gaining hands-on experience in quality assurance and project coordination. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Telfer School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, complemented by a diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship.
