Samuel Shefchik

Samuel Shefchik is a U.S. Marine veteran and an aspiring mechanical engineer currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. After serving two years in active duty, including a deployment with Marine Special Operations Command, Samuel transitioned to civilian life with a focus on engineering and innovation. They gained valuable experience as a Logistics Chief, earning a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for exemplary service, and have since contributed to sustainable engineering projects with Engineers Without Borders. Currently, Samuel serves as the Treasurer, managing financial planning for the Ecuador water-distribution project while continuing to seek hands-on engineering experience.
