James G. Clarke began their work experience in 1998 as a Senior Associate at Nations Media Partners. James G. then moved on to work at the Kauffman Foundation as the Director of Private Investments from 2002 to 2009. Following that, they joined Fiduciary Research & Consulting LLC as a Partner and Head of Private Equity & Real Asset Strategies. James G. held this position until 2015 when they joined KU Endowment as the Senior Vice President of Investments & Treasurer.

James G. Clarke's education history begins in 1993, when they enrolled at Washburn University. James G. pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science, which they completed in 1997 after four years of study.

After their undergraduate studies, James G. Clarke took a break from formal education before returning in 2001 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Kansas. James G. specialized in Finance and Investments and completed their MBA in 2004.
