Filippo Prestinoni Bocca is a professional with experience in both the scientific and business fields. Filippo began their career in 2021 as an Associate Scientist - Tissue Engineering for Engitix Therapeutics. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Product Analyst for BioHorizons Camlog Global, where they had the opportunity to apply their university course knowledge in an ongoing product development. From 2017 to 2018, they were Co-Founder of Fallowfield Sound, a student led Speaker and Lighting Rental company based in Manchester. Filippo was in charge of the marketing and company image, as well as setting up and programming lighting systems in South Manchester. In 2018, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor for Action Kids Summer Camp in Côte D’Azur, France, teaching English and helping senior staff in organizing the physical and sport program. Filippo was then appointed Head of Physical program, where they organized various sports activities to improve teamwork, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Filippo Prestinoni Bocca's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biochemistry from The University of Manchester between 2016 and 2020, and an MSc Engineering for Biomedicine in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London between 2020 and 2021. Filippo also attended The British School of Milan - Sir James Henderson School from 2006 to 2016.
