Ronan Taggart

Ronan Taggart has a diverse work experience in the field of hockey. Ronan served as the Girls' Talent Academy Head Coach at England and Great Britain Hockey starting from September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Hockey Coach at Whitgift School from August 2022. Ronan also held the role of Lead Hockey Coach and Lead Coach at Wimbledon Hockey Club, starting from August 2022. Ronan was the Head Coach for the London Hockey Juniors Boys' U13&14 Regional Squads from September 2022 to September 2023. Ronan worked as a Performance Centre Coach at England and Great Britain Hockey from September 2021 to June 2023. Additionally, Ronan has experience as a Physical Education Teacher at The Harvey Grammar School from September 2021 to July 2022. Ronan served as the Head Coach for Canterbury Hockey Club U18 Girls, Head Coach for Canterbury Christ Church University Women's 1XI, and Head Coach for Canterbury Hockey Club U16 Girls, all from September 2021 to June 2022. Ronan's work experience also includes a role as a Business Development Manager at Husky Hockey Sticks from April 2020 to January 2022.

Ronan Taggart's education history begins with their attendance at The Harvey Grammar School from 2008 to 2015. During this period, they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study.

From 2016 to 2020, Ronan attended Cardiff Metropolitan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport, Physical Education & Health.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Ronan furthered their education at Canterbury Christ Church University from 2021 to 2022. Here, they specialized in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching, earning a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Physical Education (Secondary).

In addition to their academic pursuits, Ronan obtained certifications as a hockey coach. In July 2021, they achieved the FIH Level 1 Hockey Coach certification from the International Hockey Federation (FIH). Ronan further advanced their coaching qualifications by obtaining the FIH Level 2 Hockey Coach certification in January 2022 from the same institution.
