Jane Hirsh founded Copley Pharmaceutical, Inc. (NASDAQ), a leader in the generic drug industry. In 2000, Copley was sold to Teva Pharmaceutical. In 2004, she co-founded and served as Chairman of Collegium Pharmaceutical. As a specialty pharmaceutical company, Jane focused Collegium on intellectual property development. Onset Therapeutics, a dermatological specialty company, was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of Collegium and sold to Precision Dermatology in 2010. Outside the pharmaceutical industry, Jane was the principal and Managing Partner of Sea Chain, LLC, which due diligence, permitted, and entitled over 120 acres of an abandoned World War II shipyard for residential and commercial use.
Jane served as Principal and Managing Partner of Hingham Shipyard Marinas, a 600-slip destination marina situated on the Hingham Shipyard site until 2009. Jane has served on a number of boards throughout her career. Currently, she sits on the Board of Trustees for Tufts University, the Museum of Science in Boston, and Mitra Life Sciences. Additionally, she is Chair of the Investment Committee at Jumbo Capital Management, LLC, which is a real estate investment firm focused on commercial properties in the Metro Boston region. She is also on the Board of Rage Frameworks, a Business Process Automation and Big Data products and solutions company.
