David Hanks

David Hanks is an experienced professional in the fields of archaeology and cultural heritage. Currently serving as a member of the Humanities Advisory Panel at the University of Nottingham since March 2023, David provides strategic advice on curriculum and employability issues. Since August 2016, David has held the positions of Collections Manager (North) and Assistant Curator of Roman Collections at English Heritage. Prior to this, David managed Mooch Bar and Restaurant from September 2015 to August 2016 and served as President of the Archaeology Society from April 2014 to June 2015, where leadership resulted in significant improvements in the society's financial, academic, and social stature. David earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology and a Master’s Degree in Roman Archaeology from the University of Nottingham.
