Chris Hopkins

Chris Hopkins is a talented musician with a diverse background in conducting and performing as a soloist. Currently serving as the Music Director for English Sinfonia, Chris has also held positions as a Musical Director for Orchestra of the City and Conductor for English National Opera. As a soloist, Chris has released a new album and performed as a concerto solo pianist with various orchestras, showcasing a repertoire that includes works by Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart, Schumann, Gershwin, and Shostakovich, among others. Additionally, Chris has served as a Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music and has been involved in music education, including a role as a conductor for Guildhall School of Music & Drama's Summer Opera.
