Lindsey Nelson Modesto, CPA has over 15 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Lindsey began their career in 2006 as an Accounting Supervisor at Avalon Healthcare. In this role, they ensured monthly general ledger entries were posted timely and accurately, prepared and reviewed monthly financial statements, and drafted many procedures with the accounting team to compile an Accounting Manual. In 2010, they moved to Windsor Health Plan as a Senior Associate-Financial Reporting, where they assisted divisional managers with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by providing technical and financial support, prepared budget summaries monthly, and coordinated with the budgeting team and divisional managers to ensure that administrative costs were monitored and kept within the Plan. In 2013, they became the Controller at Verus Healthcare, where they were the leader of the Finance function for one of the fastest growing DME companies in the country. In 2018, they joined NeuroInternational as Vice President Finance, where they were the leader of the finance function of a private-equity backed growing brain injury rehabilitation group. Finally, in 2021, they became the Vice President Finance at Engooden Health.

Lindsey Nelson Modesto, CPA holds a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Lindsey also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Finance, General from the University of South Florida, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006.
